32 Exposures is a group exhibition showcasing work from across Ireland’s 32 counties. This exhibition highlights the island’s diverse landscapes, its people, and their unique stories.
The idea for this group show emerged from several inspiring conversations with my good friend Rishabh Jangid, who is co-curating the exhibition with me. We firmly believe in the importance of showcasing recent work and promoting our community now, rather than waiting 10 or 20 years to recognize talent.
Creating a sense of community is at the heart of our mission. In addition to the exhibition, we host monthly photo walks in various locations across the country. Each photo walk includes a small workshop where participants can learn new skills or enhance their existing knowledge. These exercises are vital to fostering growth in our photography journeys.
This project has been instrumental in developing my curatorial and photography skills. As someone who is relatively new to this field, I aspire to take this exhibition across the country in the future, featuring photographers from different regions, hosting more workshops, and facilitating discussions about our craft. Together, we can support each other’s growth.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has helped make this project a reality. Without this incredible community, none of this would be possible.
Keep documenting your surroundings and take photographs every day!
